About the event
Join me for a cosy 3½-hour watercolour workshop, where we’ll paint a beautiful winter rural landscape using a limited, harmonious colour palette.
This will be a step-by-step guided class, making it suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous watercolour experience. I’ll take you through the painting process from the initial composition and washes through to adding the finer details that bring the winter scene to life. Along the way, we’ll explore how to create atmosphere, depth and soft winter light while getting the most from a restricted palette.
You’ll be working at your own pace in a small, relaxed group of no more than 6 people, with plenty of individual guidance throughout.
What to bring:
Just yourself! All materials are provided, including a mount for your finished artwork, so you can take your painting home ready to frame.
Nibbles included:
As this is a special festive workshop, there’ll be some seasonal soft drinks and nibbles to enjoy along the way. Please let me know in advance if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
