Angela is one of the UK’s most recognisable stand-up comedians, best known for her appearances on Live at the Apolloand Mock the Week. Her wider TV and radio credits include Hypothetical, The News Quiz, The Now Show, Newsjack, Stand Up for the Week and Russell Howard’s Good News. She is also a former BBC New Comedy Award winner, having won the award in 2011.
Before becoming a comedian, Angela worked in health and social care before moving into stand-up in 2010. Since then, she has toured across the UK, become a regular face and voice across TV and radio, and built a reputation for sharp, down-to-earth, joke-packed comedy.
For this special night in Paignton, Angela will be joined by a hand-picked line-up of live comedy talent, bringing you a full evening of stand-up from some of the best acts on the circuit.
