Slow down, get outside, and spend a morning on the water with a small group of people looking for the same thing - a genuinely good Saturday.
You'll learn the basics of paddleboarding from a certified instructor with 15+ years of experience, explore the calm waters of Marina del Rey at a relaxed, beginner-friendly pace, then gather back on shore for coffee, a nice breakfast, and a feel-good connection.
No pressure. No experience required. Just a thoughtfully designed morning that's equal parts adventure and connection.
Never been on a paddleboard? Good! You're exactly who this is for. We stay in calm marina waters, move at a comfortable pace, and your instructor is with you every step of the way. You won't be expected to keep up with anyone.
What's included:
✔ Paddleboard, paddle & life vest
✔ Beginner lesson from a certified instructor (15+ years experience)
✔ Guided paddle through Marina del Rey
✔ Breakfast (pastries, juice, etc.) on shore
✔ Fresh coffee
✔ Group photos
✔ All equipment provided — nothing to rent or buy
Schedule:
8:00 AM — Arrive, coffee, introductions
8:15 AM — Paddleboard basics with your instructor
8:40 AM — Guided group paddle through the marina (approx. 60-90min)
10:00 AM — Return to shore
10:15 AM — Breakfast, games and hang out.
11:00 AM — Wrap up and stay for the beach (optional)
Good to know:
- Come solo or bring a friend - most people come alone
- Capped at 12 people, intentionally small
- Ages 18+ welcome
- Beginners welcome
The paddle lasts about 60-90min. The hangout often last much longer.
What to Bring
☀️ Comfortable athletic clothes or a swimsuit
? Sandals or flip-flops (optional) - we usually paddleboard bare feet.
? Sunscreen
? Towel
?️ Sunglasses & a hat (recommended)
? Reusable water bottle (optional)
? A change of clothes (optional)
? Phone or waterproof phone pouch for photos (optional)
? A willingness to try something new! we'll take care of the rest :)
Refund policy: Full refund if requested 7+ days before the event. Within 7 days, tickets are non-refundable but transferable. Full refund if event is cancelled due to weather.
