About this Event
The Pacific Rasa Festival is a festival of embodied arts and the science of emotions, founded by psychologist and Natya artist Dr. Dimple Kaur.
Rasa means essence- the felt heart of art, of feeling, and of taste. The Founding Edition brings the three together in one evening.
The programme
6:00 PM — Doors and reception
6:45 PM — Opening ritual
7:00 PM — Natya Theater performance
7:30 PM — The Rasa Dialogue: a conversation between psychology and the arts
8:00 PM — Embodied Lab: a guided movement experience for the whole audience
8:30 PM — Closing and the announcement of the 2027 edition
Supported by the California Arts Council 2026–27 Individual Artist Fellowship and Arts Orange County.
Founding Patrons receive front-row seating, their name in the printed program, and a pre-show reception.
