Calling all Greenway Bike Riders! Join us at the Ribbon Cutting to officially open the "P Street" tunnel (14th street connecting the Bentonville High School to the Walmart Campus). This project has been a decade in the making and our City Leadership and other stakeholders deserve a big round of applause from those of us that enjoy safe Greenways. Details: We will rally at Lawrence Plaza (Splash Pad area) in downtown Bentonville. We will begin a short pre-ride safety brief at 9:09. Wheels go hot at 9:15. This ride is led by volunteers of Bentonville Town Tour and other local bike groups like FAST, Springdale Bike Club, Etc... thus it is 100% FREE!. We recommend a basic bike repair kit, hydration, blinky lights, and a helmet. As always, it is a safe bet that our sponsor Arkansas Moves will have SWAG and TREATS on hand to make the celebration complete. All types of bikes, all types of peeps are welcome. The pace of the ride is classified as "Greenway Social"... THIS REALLY IS A BIG DEAL!!! See you Friday
