Our October meeting will be at Dominique and Kylinn Hogue's newly built railroad. the Denver & Rio Grande Southern Railroad is a fictionalized portion of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad in the late 1930's and early 1940's. Though this is the second location for the D&RGS and it is still being constructed, this should be a fun event! In addition to the normal business meeting, we will have hot dogs and s'mores available for attendees to roast over the fire. Our motive power will be electric (hopefully), but we will also have live steam locomotives running!
We ask those attending to please bring their own skewers and bring a side dish and/or a drink. Also, please try to carpool to this event due to our neighborhood being rather small and not having a lot of parking spaces. Please park across the street from mailboxes and driveways. Please RSVP before Sunday so we can have enough hot dogs and s'mores!
