Join us to install 4,500 oyster rag pots in a couple of hours! Must provide your own water transport.
About this Event

Come by land or come by boat. We'll meet at the end of Wellon Ranch Road on the Manatee River (Redfish Point area - just east of Colony Cove). From here we will load floats with bins of oyster rag pots (ORPs), tow them out to ORE's 10-acre oyster restoration site and install 4,500 of them.

Participants need to bring a mask and closed toed shoes for working in water with soft bottom. We will be working in the water at a depth of 2-3 feet. ORPs will be installed on one foot centers within designated areas.

ORE also requires all particpants to fill out thier waiver form prior to participating.
