Love wine? Want to explore it in a fun, relaxed way? Here at the Oxford Wine Festival we help you discover mouth-watering wines in friendly surroundings.
We emphasise small-scale, artisanal, family vineyards that craft their wines with passion and love. Bringing together over 40 world-class merchants and vineyards at the stunning Oxford University Examination Schools, the festival is a celebration of everything that is great about the grape.
Forget anonymous shopping aisles, and playing roulette with your choice of wine bottles. Here you can chat to winemakers and merchants, discover your favourite styles, and find out why you like them. You'll also explore wines you won't find anywhere else - we have hundreds of award-winning, rare, and unusual wines from over twenty-five countries.
Accompanied by live music, food, and tastings from the world's foremost wine educators, we've twice been listed in Decanter's Top 10 Wine Festivals in the World.
The Oxford Wine Festival takes place in three sessions, each lasting four hours:
Friday Evening - 6pm-10pm
Saturday Afternoon - 12.30pm-4.30pm
Saturday Evening - 6pm-10pm
Your ticket includes your first 10 wine samples, and further tasting vouchers can be purchased as needed.* Wines can be purchased by the glass or bottle when you find a wine that just hits the spot!
