During the 1st World War, it was used as a hospital and has since been used for a variety of purposes. The Country home is magnificent by daylight; however, as dusk falls, it takes on an entirely different feel. With its vast rooms and endless, dark, eerie corridors, there have been many reports of strange, unexplained occurrences, including the Sound of faint, heavy footsteps pacing the corridors. Upon investigation, no one is present. Certain rooms have unexplained, drastic temperature drops. The laughter of children has been heard.
