Join BLJ Community Rowing and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) for an Outdoors for All event on Saturday, June 27, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at 2200 Kelly Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19129, on the lawn along the Schuylkill River. Launched in 2024, Outdoors for All Day celebrates the value of accessible, welcoming outdoor spaces across Pennsylvania. What began as a single celebration has grown into Outdoors for All Month each July, and this Philadelphia event will serve as the statewide kickoff for this summer’s series.
This year’s event will be a fun celebration featuring organizations from across the Philadelphia region that help people connect with outdoor recreation, nature, and community. Visitors can enjoy interactive family friendly activities, environmental education, games, music, food, and more. There will also be opportunities to participate in boating activities on the Schuylkill River.
Registration is optional but helps event organizers plan for language interpreters and additional logistics. ASL and Spanish interpretation will be available for attendees.
