In a nutshell: All are welcome to this gentle, creation-based Sound Journey! Please read everything to know how to prepare.
Enjoy an hour of relaxation with nature on the feast of Francis of Assisi, patron of ecology, radical peacemaker. This beginner-friendly session will connect us with nature and foster inner peace. It takes place on a beautiful lawn with lake and mountain views and bird songs. Gong, crystal singing bowls, ocean wave drum, chimes, rainstick and more.
Location: right by Equalizer Lake, in Old Canal Park, next to the gazebo by the walking trail. We'll be accompanied by birds, trees and views of the mountains.
Weather permitting. If this event is canceled due to weather (wind or rain), donations will be refunded.
A minimum of 5 participants is needed. Family friendly: All are welcome, including young children.
Please bring: This event will be on a grass lawn. Bring a chair or mat and blanket to lie on, as well as pillows and whatever else you need to be comfortable. Dress warmly and comfortably for the weather. I recommend eye masks, layers and a cozy blanket to cover you. NOTE: For this event, none of these items will be provided, so please come prepared.
Parking is located in a lot by the office buildings on Rocky Mtn. Ave. Walk west toward the lake and follow the signage.
Need to know: Since this is outside, THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS AVAILABLE. Please plan accordingly. Please arrive 5 or so minutes or so before the start time so that you can prepare for the experience, and turn off your phone before we begin.
A donation of $20-$30 per adult is appropriate, minimum $15. ($10 for children)
Please: If you are late, quietly join on the peripheral of the circle so others are not disturbed. Sorry, no refunds for no shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the event. Your donation will be used to support others seeking sound therapy. If you can't make it, feel free to share your ticket with someone.

About Sound Journeys: Sound journeys bathe or massage our bodies, minds and spirits with healing sounds. This can help our noisy "monkey minds" get quiet as we shift to a Theta brainwave state from our usual Beta and Alpha states. This is where we relax deeply and experience peace and healing on a cellular level. Some people report physical, emotional, mental or spiritual shifts, such as pain relief, improved sleep, sense of clarity, calm, release of tension, feeling revitalized and much more.
A 32" planetary gong, singing bowls, 22" Ocean Wave Drum, rainstick, seed rattle, monochord and more will be used during this sound meditation experience to bathe you in beautiful resonance! Original poetry and a guided visualization will be infused in the journey to help you drop into the experience.
