About this Event
Have you ever wondered where we go when we die? How does death shape the natural world? And how might we connect more meaningfully with our own mortality?
Join us for an outdoor Death Café walk around Boundary Brook Nature Reserve, where we'll explore the cycles of life and death in nature, reflect on what it means to be mortal, and share thoughts and conversations with fellow mortals along the way.
This will be an informal, open space for conversation, curiosity and reflection, hosted by mortal being, Katie Crabtree. We'll take time to observe the natural cycles around us, share perspectives and consider our own relationship with life and death. There are no expectations or right answers – just an opportunity to talk, listen and connect in nature.
Participants are warmly encouraged to support Boundary Brook Nature Reserve by becoming a member or making a donation to the Oxford Urban Wildlife Group: https://www.ouwg.org.uk/membership/
Accessibility: Please note that this is an outdoor event involving walking along nature paths at Boundary Brook, which include uneven terrain. If you have any questions about accessibility or would like to discuss any adjustments that might help you participate, please get in touch with the organiser.
