It begins in darkness, and then a voice speaks: “Let there be light.”Our Savior: The Light follows that light through the whole story of Scripture, from the dawn of creation to the moment it is placed in our own hands. We watch it burn in a bush that is never consumed and glow as a pillar of fire leading a nation through the wilderness. We follow it as it is promised to Abraham and as it settles over Bethlehem in a single, unmistakable star.
Then the light walks among us. We see it blaze on a mountaintop in the Transfiguration and give sight to a man who had never seen. We also face the hardest part of the story: the light rejected, and the darkness that seems to win at the cross.
But the story does not end there. On resurrection morning the light breaks through, and at Pentecost it is given away, entrusted to ordinary people like us.
Told through drama, dance, narration, and a driving contemporary soundtrack, this production invites you to experience that story fresh.
Whether you’ve known this story all your life or are hearing it for the first time, come see how the light has been shining all along. Bring your family, bring a friend, and come walk in the light.
