Join us for a conversation with Professor Shelley Wright for a conversation about climate change & sovereignty in the Arctic. We are in the middle of several global crises, including accelerating climate change. Canada is directly effected by these changes, especially in the Arctic. Environmental safety is often sacrificed in the midst of extreme political, economic, and even military challenges. Sovereignty is not only about our national strategies to deal with all this. It is also about the rights of people, mostly Inuit, who actually live in the Arctic.Registration is required for this program! Email [email protected] to sign up.
