Walk the streets of historic Sharpsburg and hear three to four historically accurate Civil War ghost stories, drawn from the people, places, and events surrounding the Battle of Antietam.
Each tour lasts approximately 75–90 minutes and is led by historian and author Mark Brugh, who has spent more than 40 years researching Sharpsburg, Antietam, and the Civil War history of the area.
Mark is the author of Civil War Ghosts of Sharpsburg and the newly released Ghosts of Antietam. These aren't generic ghost stories or legends copied from the Internet. They are originally researched accounts grounded in the actual history of Sharpsburg and the Battle of Antietam—the stories Mark has spent decades researching, collecting, and preserving.
