The Ottawa Rock & Gem Expo is back, and this time we're bringing Ontario's premier crystal, gem and mineral expo to the Cohere Centre (formerly the EY Centre) for two incredible days of shopping, discovery, and hands-on fun for the whole family.WHAT YOU'LL FIND:
Browse an incredible selection of crystals, gemstones, and raw minerals from passionate vendors who source and curate their collections from around the world. From tumbled stones and polished pieces to large-format amethyst clusters and statement mineral formations, every table offers something different and every visit turns up something new.
Looking for something to wear? Many of our vendors carry handcrafted gemstone jewellery and accessories, each piece as unique as the stone it's made from.
Keep your eyes open for the unexpected too. Some of our vendors specialize in natural curiosities: preserved specimens, framed insects, animal skulls, seashells, and rare finds you won't discover anywhere else.
HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES:
Two of our most beloved stops make the Ottawa Rock & Gem Expo an experience, not just a shopping event:
🪨 Geode Cracking Station: Select your own geode, crack it open, and keep the crystal formation hidden inside. No two geodes are alike, which is exactly what makes this so exciting for kids and adults alike.
💎 Gem Sifting Station: Sift through water and sand to uncover hidden gemstones and minerals, and keep everything you find. Hands-on, fun, and genuinely addictive.
A Family-Friendly Day Out
