About this Event
We're excited to announce our first-ever Ottawa Background Expo & Halloween Party, happening on Wednesday, October 28th at 1D Studio!
This is a FREE event, but registration is required. Attendance will be checked at the door, so please ensure that everyone attending is registered under their own name. Please note that you can only purchase one ticket per order, but are able to make multiple orders.
Whether you're brand new to the industry or a seasoned background performer, this event is for you. Join us for an evening of Halloween fun, a live Background Banter session, performer resources (including on-site measurements), networking opportunities, and a chance to connect with and celebrate Ottawa's film community.
Since it's spooky season, we encourage everyone to come dressed in their best costume. There will be prizes for some of our favourite looks!
Children are welcome, and we'll have activities available for them throughout the event. Parents must accompany minors.
A cash bar will be available, with a portion of drink sales being donated to the Ottawa Food Bank. We'll also be collecting non-perishable food items at the event to support local families in need.
Interested in volunteering? We'd love to have your help! Volunteers are still welcome to enjoy and participate in the event. If you'd like to get involved, please email [email protected].
Disclaimer: Please be advised that photography and videography will take place during the event. By attending, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. These materials may be used for promotional, marketing, and educational materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertising, and future Background Expo-related communications.
