Full Moon Serenity: Japanese Tea Ceremony & Delights by Candlelight. Elevate your senses with tranquil tradition.
About this Event

Experience the serene beauty of the autumn moon at our Otsukimi Japanese Tea Ceremony: Moonlight Harmony. This evening gathering offers a tranquil space to connect with nature, reflect on the season’s abundance, and immerse yourself in the elegance and mindfulness of Japanese tea tradition.

Otsukimi, or Moon Viewing, is a cherished Japanese custom celebrating the full moon and the harvest season. The radiant moon symbolizes gratitude, completeness, and the cyclical rhythm of life. Traditionally, seasonal offerings—such as rice, chestnuts, and moon-shaped sweets—express appreciation for nature’s bounty and invite harmony and abundance into our hearts.

In this candlelit tea ceremony, soft illumination will enhance the meditative atmosphere, inviting quiet reflection and presence. Participants will enjoy freshly prepared matcha and traditional Japanese sweets as we honor the harvest moon and cultivate mindfulness, gratitude, and inner harmony.

Event Highlights:

  • Traditional Japanese tea ceremony by candlelight
