Other Matters brings together a diverse selection of paintings by Malle Morley, whose artistic practice spans more than six decades. Moving freely between abstraction and figuration, her work reflects both a deep engagement with the world and a delight in the possibilities of painting itself.Empathy, identity, otherness and belonging are recurring concerns, alongside questions of climate change, animal rights and our responsibilities to one another and the natural world — yet Morley’s practice is equally driven by curiosity, imagination and the sheer pleasure of experimentation with colour, shape, texture and composition.
Expressive, inventive and at times playful, Other Matters reveals an artist for whom painting is both a way of making sense of the world and a space to explore, experiment and discover.
Join us for the opening night — come celebrate Malle’s work with us!
