Bill Staubi
In the many years I have been buying original artwork, most often by emerging artists, I've worked to support the local arts community in various ways: financially, mentoring, sharing opportunities, donating, and working with like-minded individuals and organizations.
My goal has been to help artists get their start, reach their potential, and be able to make their living in Ottawa-Gatineau. Contributing to a vibrant local arts community is my way of ensuring I have a creative and exciting city to live in.
Andrew Morrow
Through my Relationally Based Studio Practice, I position the gallery space as a site of experimentation, gathering, and collective attention. I work with sitters as active participants, creating durations where conversation, observation, gesture, and silence shape the process. Continually transformed by these encounters, my paintings and drawings combine figures, objects, abstract passages, and fragments of personal text, tracing our exchanges and making painting a social space where connection takes material form.

Olivia Johnston is an artist and art historian living and working in Ottawa, Canada. In her practice, she investigates her own experiences of chronic illness and trauma, and examines the iconography of sacredness in contemporary life. Catholic aesthetics often serve as a visual framework in her practice in order to explore questions about images, gender, the body, the self, beauty, illness, and art history.
Johnston’s practice includes lens-based imagery, site-specific installation, and sculpture; her award-winning work has been exhibited across Canada and abroad and is in multiple private and public collections. She has received grant support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor Honours Art History from Carleton University and a Photographic Arts and Production Diploma from the SPAO Centre.
