On Thursday 10 December, Radio City Social hosts a night of original country and blues, bringing together Essex favourites and award-winning artists from across the UK.
This is a night for people who like their music live and written by the person singing it. Four artists, four very different takes on roots music, one stage.
THE LINE-UP
DAN JONES
An award winning Country-rock artist, guitarist and songwriter from the West Midlands. Dan's "One More Whiskey for the Road" won Song of the Year at the 2026 UK Country Music Awards, and the EP of the same name scored 9/10 in Maverick magazine. Expect rock guitar and stories told straight.
NAT HILLS
"Too country for rock, too rock for country." Nat delivers high-energy country-rock anthems with a gritty 90s alt-rock edge, from an artist who writes about resilience and coming out the other side swinging.
LOUISE PARKER
Chelmsford's own. Louise is a modern country-pop singer-songwriter with two No.1s on the iTunes Country Chart, a spell living and writing in Nashville, and a hometown crowd behind her.
DARREN JONES & THE WORLD MUSIC BAND
Roots music with a passport. Darren blends Afrobeat grooves with rhythms from around the globe for a vibrant, colourful live sound that gets a room moving.
