Our next meet is on Sunday October 18, and it's our first event in Boyce Park since 2017 - the vintage-effect photo was taken then. Check-in and Start are from 11 am to 2 pm at the Patrol shelter in Boyce Park. Pay attention to the directions as we are not permitted to post signs inside the park! Instruction will be available from 11 am until noon.
There are 3 courses to choose from:
Beginner 2.0 km
Novice 3.3 km
and a 90-minute score course.
Please preregister for this event *before Friday 16 Oct* so that we know we have enough maps.
Driving directions and pre-registration link are at http://www.wpoc.org/boyceflyerwest.php?pick=11
The map fee is still $5 for members ($6 for non-members) who preregister. If you don't preregister, a small fine is added. Minors can participate for free if they are preregistered.
Don't forget, if you are bringing a minor who is not your child, you need to bring a waiver signed by their parent (obtainable at http://www.wpoc.org/waivers.htm). You can save time on the day by printing this at home and bringing it with you, already completed.
