About this Event
Part of the A Perfect Day @ ORGATEC agenda. Hosted by Colebrook Bosson Saunders - Hall 07.1 | Stand C031
As workplaces evolve from places we go to work into places where people come together to connect, collaborate, and create value, ergonomics must evolve too.
This session explores the emerging discipline of Social Ergonomics and how workplace design can intentionally support not only physical wellbeing, but also human connection, trust, psychological safety, and collaboration.
Drawing on research from the CBS Insights Programme, we'll examine how changing patterns of work have expanded the environments where people work, from home offices and hot desks to social hubs, project spaces, and purpose-built collaborative settings. While these spaces may look different, the physical and cognitive needs of the people using them remain constant.
Attendees will discover how ergonomics can support people wherever work happens today and learn practical approaches to designing environments where individuals and teams can perform, connect, and thrive.
