Please read the overview and start/end times even if you have read them before. We are at a new place, and have a new price. We will have to set up the nets. I will need a couple volunteers to make sure we can get up and playing as soon as possible!Hello everyone! I'm putting together a bit different format of pickup, geared towards intermediate and above level players. Signup is required, we will not have anyone sitting, everyone will play every set. I would appreciate if you would please read the full description, and shoot me a message if you have any questions!
1 ) Overview and Schedule:
- Experienced Intermediate level co-ed sixes volleyball
- You will play on multiple different teams over the course of the evening.
- We need everyone there in order to have full teams of six with no players rotating out.
- Please clear your schedule so you can be on time before signing up.
What to bring:
- Your best attitude and sense of fair play
- A good indoor volleyball if you have one
Start and End Times:
- Arrive by 6:15 pm, I will go over expectations and how the event is set up at around 6:20-25 depending on when we can have nets set up.
- Be ready to play at 6:25pm
- Last set ends: 9:00pm, we will need to take down the nets after.
- Everyone (please) arrives on time and stays until the end
- If you will be late, contact me, or you could lose your spot.
2 ) How to sign up and pay:
Please do these TWO things, in order, one after the other:
A) send $7.50 using your payment app (see below) and please include date of event
B) tap GOING on this Facebook event invite.

I will add the words "Event Full" to the title of the event once we are at capacity. Send me a dm to be added to the waitlist.
We will shoot for having two full courts. If we go over the maximum capacity, at the point I am able to go through the reservations, I will contact you and give you an immediate refund.
Your reservation cannot be transferred to someone else.
3 ) Communications and Confirmation
I will post a list of attendees to the Event page once the event fills up. Read that post, verify it is correct, and then LIKE the post to confirm your reservation.
If you sign up and pay, you have a reserved spot for Sunday.
I will communicate with you by posting to the Event page, and using Facebook direct messages (all players should be available through messenger). If you don't use Facebook messenger, you should provide me with your cell number so I can text updates to you.
4 ) Minimum expectations for all players:
- Experience playing intermediate level indoor leagues.
- Ability to consistently and accurately serve, pass and set.
- Ability to play at the net without crossing under it or touching it
- Athletic agility to move to the ball quickly for hard hit balls.
- A solid understanding of rules, gameplay, and coverage at the intermediate level.
- Arrive and be ready-to-play at the event start time, and stay until the end.
- The highest level of sportsmanship, inclusivity and support for fellow players.
5 ) How to cancel and refunds:
If you cancel with 24 hours notice and I am able to find a paid replacement you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you might get a partial refund depending on circumstances. The more notice the better.
If you cancel with less than 3 hours notice, there will be no refund. Also, please explain why you cancelled. Otherwise you might not be able to attend in the future.
If you no-show without any communications, you will not be invited back.
6 ) Waitlist:
If the event title includes "Event Full," please send me a direct message. I will add you to the waitlist.
