We're driving down from Hattiesburg for a Friday night at Fairhope Brewing Company. Music starts at 6. No cover.Our album Beat Tape (A Day in the Life) came out in May, and it's laid out like a single day, from WAKE UP to Beat 7 (Epilogue). On that clock, 6 PM on a Friday falls between the Unwind and Dinner interludes. Seems about right for a taproom.
If we're new to you, we're Organized Grime: Matt Butzlaff on guitar, Dell Smith on keys, Marc Haik on bass and Andy Pate on drums. We play J Dilla-style grooves with psychedelic guitar and keys on top, filed under Transcendental Southern Psych-Fi. Obscure Sound's review in June called the record "an all-out enthralling success."
Fairhope Brewing doesn't have a kitchen, so feel free to bring your own food; they often have a food truck too. Well-behaved kids and dogs are welcome.
