David Higgs is one of America's leading concert organists and serves as the Minehan Family Professor of Organ and Chair of the Organ Department at the Eastman School of Music. An internationally acclaimed performer, he has appeared throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, and has inaugurated major instruments in prominent concert halls and cathedrals. A distinguished teacher and recording artist, Higgs has served on the Eastman faculty since 1992 and is widely recognized for his artistry, musicianship, and influence on a generation of organists.
