Organ Fairchild with special guests Johnny Novacaine at xBk Live!
ABOUT THE BAND: Hailed by Live For Live Music as a "fast-rising NY band" and praised by JamBase for "making waves in the scene," Organ Fairchild has carved out a distinctive sound that blends the energy of a rock band with the improvisational spirit of an organ trio.
Described by Glide Magazine as "adventurous, vital and alive," the band's music draws inspiration from artists like Soulive, Medeski Martin & Wood, The Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, and The Meters. The result is a dynamic mix of funk, rock, jazz, and jam that feels both familiar and refreshingly original.
On stage, Organ Fairchild delivers an unforgettable performance without a bass player—and without a vocalist—proving just how powerful an instrumental trio can be. As Atlanta's FunkCity.net puts it, "Get ready to be bowled over by this terrific trio—old-school funk fusion with new-era notions of jam."
