ABOUT THE BAND: Hailed as a “fast-rising NY band” by Live For Live Music, and a group that's “making waves in the scene" by JamBase, Organ Fairchild craft their organ-trio-meets-rock-band sound — described as “adventurous, vital and alive” by Glide Magazine — by synthesizing influences ranging from The Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers to The Meters, Steely Dan and Medeski Martin & Wood.
And when they're on stage completely captivating an audience without a bass player - and nobody singing - there is no confusing them for any other artist on today's scene.
As Atlanta’s FunkCity writes, “Get ready to be bowled over by this terrific trio - old school funk fusion with new era notions of jam.”
Voted NY's top emerging band in 2021, Organ Fairchild have:
✅ Become official artists on the nugs.net platform
✅ Charted #1 on April 2026 Relix/Jambands.com National Radio Charts
✅ Recorded with Jorma Kaukonen
✅ Sirius XM Grateful Dead Channel interview and airplay
✅ Sit-ins with moe., Maggie Rose, Andy Frasco and Tedeschi Trucks Band members
✅ Handpicked by Spotify for their "Instrumental Funk" playlist
✅ New Orleans Jazz Fest, Dark Star Jubilee, FloydFest, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Borderland Music + Arts Festival, Domefest, moe.down, Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival and many more
"Blazed their way through their propulsive compositions and an excellent Grateful Dead cover" - JamBase
