Do certified adjudicators need to be re-certified for the new rubric?
No. All currently certified choral adjudicators are still eligible to adjudicate qualifying contests until their certification expires. However, it is strongly recommended that they familiarize themselves with the new rubric. All current (and future) adjudicators are highly encouraged plan to attend one of the upcoming adjudication workshops to learn about and work with this new rubric.

What is this certification good for?
The certification is so you can count as a qualifying judge at a state qualifying festival. Anyone is welcome to adjudicate or work with any group in the state without this certification. This certification is specific to the high school state qualifying festivals only. You can also learn about the new rubric that we are adopting in our state.
