Oratorio: Considering Matthew ShepardArts on the Square 2026–27 Season
Join us Sunday, April 25 at 4:00 p.m. for a powerful season finale featuring the Sanctuary Choir, Market Square Singers, and Orchestra. Composed by Craig Hella Johnson, Considering Matthew Shepard is a three-part fusion oratorio created as a compassionate musical response to the tragic 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard. Tyler Canonico-Dilley leads the choir and orchestra in this breathtaking choral masterpiece.
🎻 Orchestra provided through special collaboration with C. Stelle Music (cstellemusic.com).
🎤 Join us for a pre-concert talk with our Artistic Director Tyler, Dr. Kyle Weary of Cadence (formerly the Central PA Womyn's Chorus) and Dr. Dillon Beede, Artistic Director of the Harrisburg Gay Men's Chorus.
