Join Orant Charities and Denton County Brewing Co. for an afternoon of holiday shopping in downtown Denton. The Orant Holiday Market brings together 12 to 15 Denton-area makers, bakers and small shops on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The afternoon includes:
• Holiday gifts from local vendors
• Free hot chocolate and a kids' craft table
• The Orant Giving Tree: choose an ornament, give a gift for a student in Malawi and take the ornament home
• A free door prize drawing. Sign up when you arrive; you don't need to be present to win.
The market is free to attend, and all ages are welcome.
Why education: Primary school in Malawi is free, but the cost of uniforms, notebooks, and room and board still keeps children out of class. Every purchase and every gift from the Giving Tree helps students in Malawi stay in school.
Own a shop? We still have room for vendors. The booth fee is $50; bring your own table, up to 6 feet. Apply by Friday, Nov. 6: https://www.orantcharities.org/events/orant-holiday-market
