🦃 Let’s Make This Thanksgiving One to Remember! 🦃We’ll be preparing 8500 meals for our neighbors in need — and we need your help to make it happen!
🥧 The Turkey Tailgate
Join us the day before Thanksgiving for one of our favorite traditions! This all-day event runs from 5:30 AM – 11:00 PM at Fayetteville Chapter 82nd Airborne Division Association- 606 Johnson St, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Volunteers come together to smoke turkeys, prep food, and package meals, all while enjoying laughter, fun, and community spirit.
👕 What to Wear:
Tie long hair back, wear a ball cap, and dress in clothes you don’t mind getting a little turkey or corn juice on. Closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes are highly recommended.
🙌 Volunteer Roles:
Location leaders will guide volunteers to where they’re needed most — from food prep to meal packaging to cleanup. Kids can join in too with a special area to decorate meal containers!
