Join us at the North Iowa Events Center from September 25th thru September 28th as we welcome The Moving Wall to Mason City. The Moving Wall is a traveling 1/2 size replica of The Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, DC which commemorates the over 58,000 men and women who died or remain missing in action from The Vietnam War. The Moving Wall will be escorted by a motorcycle Thunder Salute from Albert Lea, MN to Mason City, IA on Wednesday, September 23rd, departing at 11:00 AM and will be led by The American Legion Riders.
Volunteers are requested for assembly of The Moving Wall on Thursday, September 24th, beginning at 9:00 AM.
The Moving Wall will be open to the public beginning at 8:00 AM on Friday, September 25th and an official opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 AM. The Wall will then be viewable by the public until 12:00 PM on Monday, September 28th.
Volunteers are again requested to disassemble the wall following closing time.
