The Secret Apartment of Princess Doria Pamphilj, a treasure of art and history, opens its doors for a select few.Encircled by masterpieces of art and the echoes of nobility, guests will be serenaded by world-class voices resonating through rooms that have hosted generations of aristocracy. Each note of the performance is a thread in the fabric of history, in a space where every detail—from the classical furnishings to the opulent artworks—whispers of a bygone era of splendor.
In the very halls where the Doria Pamphilj family has celebrated the arts for centuries, you will experience a concert that is both a tribute and a continuation of this legacy. Each piece has been selected to echo the architectural and artistic wonders that surround you, creating an immersive performance that is as educational as it is enchanting.
Our carefully curated repertoire takes our guests on an auditory exploration through Italy’s rich musical tradition, with compositions that resonate with the very essence of the country’s storied history. The evening’s performance, led by a sublime soprano whose voice is as captivating as the narratives woven into each aria, is complemented by the melodic whispers of a transverse flute and the resonant strumming of a baroque guitar. The deep, sonorous plucks of the theorbo add a layer of baroque richness, creating a multi-sensory tribute to the Italian masters of melody.
With exclusivity as our hallmark, attendance is intimately limited, ensuring a personal connection to the music and the majestic surroundings.
