Program Notes:
"Pagliacci" invites us into the world of a traveling theater troupe where passion, jealousy, and betrayal simmer just beneath the surface. What begins as entertainment soon blurs the line between performance and reality, with devastating consequences.
As emotions spiral beyond anyone's control, "Pagliacci" reveals how quickly trust can unravel when love, pride, and suspicion take hold. Featuring some of opera's most powerful music, this gripping masterpiece reminds us that the masks we wear cannot hide the truth forever.
