After a successful inaugural festival that culminated in a “Best New Venture of 2024” award, the 2nd annual Opera Austin Festival will take place November 15, 2025 from 4pm to 11pm at the Draylen Mason Music Studio with KMFA Radio as the media sponsor.
This year's festival will spotlight diverse productions on the main stage in the Draylen Mason Music Studio. A secondary Aria Stage will pair new works by living composers with young artists early in their singing careers, all of whom submitted materials to an open call. The festival will also include networking sessions and panel discussions in the conference room, allowing composers and organizations to discuss their work.
