OPENING: Tues 13 October
An expansive exhibition by well-known Ōtautahi Christchurch artist Simon Ogden featuring linoleum works, paintings on canvas plus 3-dimensional constructions. Some are near abstract, others suggest figures fused in mobile compositions that are open to interpretation. Ogden enjoys materiality and often incorporates found objects within his studio practice. Paintings on canvas reveal his strength with colour and form and two rugs bring his visual flair to the floor.
