On March 4, 2026 Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz passed away at the age of 89. Seventeen years prior, in 2009, he came out of retirement to coach what would be his final football game, the Notre Dame Japan Bowl. A rare, behind-the-scenes look at the legendary coach as he prepares for his greatest challenge on the gridiron- rallying a team of alumni players as old as 52 years to challenge the best players in Japan inside the Tokyo Dome.
Directed by Notre Dame Film Professor Ted Mandell. Followed with a Q&A with former Notre Dame players.
