Join us at Kino on Wednesday 28 October as we open the 32nd edition of Lund Fantastic Film Festival with drinks, guests, short films, two wildly different features and the beginning of eight days of fantastic cinema.
Come for the opening film, stay late for Blood Shine — or make a full night of it.

Kino Atrium
Start the festival with us in the Atrium.

19:00 – FOUR TIGERS
Kino 1 · Opening Film
Our 2026 festival opens with Four Tigers, a sprawling Thai action drama about friendship, loyalty, violence and survival.
Set against a turbulent period in Thailand, the film follows four men whose lives become bound together by conflict and circumstance — an ambitious, emotional and action-packed opening to this year’s festival.
The screening also includes the short film Super Z, introduced in person by director Marc Dalmau.

Opening Night continues with Blood Shine, an altogether darker proposition — intense, bloody and made for audiences who prefer their festival nights to get stranger as the clock gets later.
The screening includes the short film Dinner and will be followed by a Q&A with directors Emily Bennett and Justin Brooks.
One night. Two very different films.
Start with a festival mingle and an epic opening feature. Stay for late-night blood, horror and filmmakers in attendance.
