The annual Lennox Street Open Studio Weekend is back!Join us on Fri Oct 30th 6-9pm for opening drinks with the artists and then see 40 working artist studios open FREE to the public to view and purchase works all weekend between 10am to 5pm.
This year we are honoured to have National Art School Gallery Manager and Senior Curator Katrina Cashman to open the evening on Friday the 30th Oct. at 6:30pm.
Since 1995 LSS has been home to some of the biggest names in the Australian art world, such as Archibald prize winner Del Kat Barton.
We thank artists Steve Perrin and Malcolm Poole who established the Lennox Street Studios in 1995 in the former St Joseph’s School (1922). It has run continuously since with the kind support of the St Joseph’s Church.
Lennox Street provides a progressive and holistic atmosphere of mutual learning and understanding in a supportive creative environment.
Each year, the Lennox Street Studios hold their annual open weekend. This year will see a busy and creative program that includes:
Opening night live music provided by Tansy McLean & band
Opening night wines and beers
Purchase affordable art directly from the artists themselves
Everyone is welcome to this all ages event. See you there!
