Open Studio is your new industry hangout—a welcoming third space for creatives to create, connect, collaborate, learn and vibe. In this Single Light Portraits Edition, we will be focusing on creating memorable portraits with just one light source. Learn how to confidently shape light without a heavy investment into lighting gear, while taking your portraits to the next level.
Whether you’re looking to learn or just get some extra practice, Open Studio is the perfect environment to meet likeminded creatives, work on your craft, or even step in front of the camera and get a new portrait of yourself.

What can I expect at Open Studio?
Open Studio is not a traditional workshop with a structured “classroom” format. Our in-house creatives are on-hand to help you navigate your creative journey, whether it’s help with portraits or lighting, an outside opinion on your work, or even troubleshooting your camera settings. And, of course, community.
How does it work?
Just show up! While gear/models are not provided, you are more than welcome to bring your camera for hands-on learning, bring a laptop to edit, bring your portfolio to share with others, or just come hang out and network.
