Whether you're a civil servant, agency professional, or freelancer, this conversation-led event offers a unique opportunity to dive into the critical topic of inclusive data.

Digital transformation across the public and private sectors is shifting rapidly into AI, automated decision-making, and shared data platforms. But as we switch from analogue to digital and our fallback options are turned off, what happens when the underlying data models mis-read, misinterpret or exclude the very people they are meant to serve?
This interactive Open Space session brings together those who commission digital services and those who build them - be that freelancers, staff or agencies. Together, we’ll explore what inclusive data is and why it matters and what we can do about it. This is done through conversations with peers and stakeholders. You will decide what you want to explore and you will help set the agenda for the evening.
Digital pioneer and chair of digital thinktank Cybersalon, Eva Pascoe will set the scene by sharing some recent research and her own insights into the what and why of Inclusive data.
To help facilitate on the night, Senior Service Designer and user-centred design practitioner, Lucy Wills is on hand to share some of her experience working in the public sector. She will be joined by Amanda Ridgway who is a transformation and operational improvement specialist with experience across healthcare, public services and digital delivery.
Then it’s over to you to decide what you’d like to explore further during the evening. We’ll end the session with some networking drinks provided by aql.
