The zendo will be open from 9:00am - 3:00pm for open zazen. There will be no timed periods, and you are free to come and go as you please throughout the day. There will be a short meal service around noon and a shared meal. If this is your first time sitting with us, please come at 10am or 1:30pm for beginning instruction.
A mondo (Q+A session) will be offered by Shoan Sensei in the afternoon from 3:00pm - 4:30pm. This is a great opportunity to work with directly with a zen teacher in a group setting, where we can receive live feedback to our questions on Buddhism and Buddhist practice and life in general and learn from the teacher as well as each other.
If you plan to attend the mondo, please plan to arrive early and sit zazen for at least 30 minutes before the mondo.
