Step up to the mic and experience what it feels like to perform in a dedicated, world-class recording environment. On Tuesday, October 27 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, IDIO Sound Lab and Oak Tree Music are opening their doors for a completely FREE Open Mic night at 625 5th Ave B01 in New Westminster.
Unlike a typical café or bar stage, this is a rare chance to share your craft in a professional studio designed specifically for pristine acoustics, dialing in real-time sound, and giving your voice and instruments the sonic clarity they deserve.
Every sound, style, and setup is welcome on our stage. Whether you’re an MC dropping bars, an acoustic singer-songwriter testing fresh lyrics, a jazz duo exploring improvisation, or a full band plugging in to dial in your groove, this space is built for all genres—from hip hop, R&B, and rock to folk, classical, and traditional world music.
Performance slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis via the signup sheet at the door, so arrive early, meet the local creative community, and bring your best sound to the room!
Best of all it's FREE!
