Hi All, I’m hosting an Open Mic night at Bulga Hall on Saturday 14 November, kicking off at about 6pm.
The idea of this event is it's an opportunity to create and share something IRL.
All this screen time is rotting my brain so I thought it'd be cool to learn more about what passion projects or cool things folks in the community have been up to of late.
So with that being said, if you want to tell us a story, or read a poem, or maybe you want to present something on the projector, then the stage will be all yours.
I'll have a laptop hooked up, so bring a USB stick or just log in on the night.
Also for the musos, if you want to play a tune, or sing a song then that would be great too.
This is an all ages gig. I'm generally thinking we try to keep it to 15 minutes or less for each mic session - but two minutes is completely fine too.
If you really want to push it a bit longer we'll see what we can do.
Just a big connection session. Come along even if you’re not keen to present anything. No stress either way.
A small donation for hall hire would be great. I haven’t booked the kitchen but I'm open to it if others want to get involved.
Big love,
Gaff.
