Step into the rhythm and energy of Afro dance in this immersive workshop led by Kyaisha Darden!
Designed for all levels, this class blends movement, culture, and community. You’ll explore foundational Afro dance techniques, across-the-floor movement, musicality, and choreography while learning about the history and cultural significance behind the movement.
Kyaisha brings over 20 years of dance experience, with training in Hip-Hop, Majorette, Contemporary/Modern, Traditional West African, Ballet, and more. Her journey has taken her from training at Alvin Ailey to traveling to Africa to deepen her understanding of dance and culture firsthand.
Come ready to learn, move, connect, and embrace the culture in a welcoming, high-energy environment.
