Please join us for a special afternoon celebrating the art and legacy of Betty Fishman z”l, a longtime member of Congregation Achduth Vesholom and the Designer Craftsman Guild.Betty Fishman: A Selection of Works on Paper brings together a wonderful selection of Betty’s work and offers an opportunity to remember her creativity and her deep connection to our community.
There will be a brief program at 2 p.m. with remarks from Charles Shepard III, president and CEO of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art; Justin Johnson, executive director of Artlink; Maureen Grinsfelder, a friend of Betty and member of the CAV Art and Beautification Committee; and Katie Eastridge and Marguerite Fishman, Betty’s daughters.
We are especially grateful to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art for the loan of artwork and its support of this exhibition, and to Betty’s family, the Designer Craftsman Guild, and the many people whose generosity and work have made it possible.
