OPEN FARM DAY – Special WELLNESS ON THE FARM EditionSaturday, September 6th
11am to 2pm – RAIN OR SHINE
Everything is PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN so everyone can participate in our local food system!
11:30AM SLOW-FLOW YOGA AT THE FARM: Join Emma Betts as she guides a 60 Minute slow flow yoga class. In this class you can expect an engaging sequence that focuses on breath awareness, and body alignment. This is a slow flow for all levels, all bodies. All you will need is a mat and a water bottle.
1:00PM NATURE-BASED GUIDED MEDITATION: Join local osteopath Sheryl Gray in this one-hour session that includes an introduction to the types/ styles and reasons to meditate, including physical health. The guided meditation practice including techniques such as diaphramatic breathing, progressive relaxation, creative visualization, and grounding meditation. Practice can be done sitting in a chair (consider bringing your own, and perhaps a handtowel to use as a foot placement), or laying down on a yoga mat or blanket.
