Open Community Samhain RitualSunday, Nov 8, 2026
Gather at 5:30 pm, gates locked at 6:15 pm (NO late entry), Ritual at 6:30 pm in Albuquerque's South Valley.
Samhain is the gravest of the Sabbats. At this time of the year, the veils between the worlds are thinnest, and we may be able to connect more easily with the Honored Dead who have gone before us. We use divination and trance work to help us find guidance as we move into the dark, introspective part of the year.
Our open rituals are designed so that people with all levels of experience can participate in a meaningful way. Witches, friends and family, curious and respectful nonpagans, those new to our community,
are all welcome
Please Bring: your unimpaired magickal self; warm clothing and footwear for outdoor ritual; items to display on the ancestor altar (to be taken home with you - not offerings unless you want them to be.) This is not a Halloween celebration; please do not wear costumes or masks. There will be a pot luck feast after the ritual; please bring a dish/drink special to your ancestors. Also, please bring your own feast gear (see the brief instructional video in the comments if you don't know what that is) as we are doing away with disposable feastwares. We request a $10 donation to help support materials for the ritual, but no one is turned away for lack of cash.
