About this Event
We live among people. We rarely meet them.
Open Circle is a guided nature connection experience for people who want to meet new people in a different way — slower, more genuine, and in the natural world.
For this early-autumn edition, we meet at Parque dos Poetas as the day begins to turn towards evening. We start in daylight and allow the changing landscape to accompany us into dusk.
"At first I was sceptical. But within minutes I was drawn into a space far bigger than I had imagined. The park became a universe of endless exploration."
— Nathalie
Through a series of simple sensory invitations, you will be invited to slow down, wander, observe and explore — sometimes on your own, sometimes with another person, sometimes as a group.
As colours change and daylight fades, we will notice what happens when we give more attention to sound, texture, movement, temperature and the living world around us. A familiar urban park can become a very different place when we stop moving through it and begin to really notice it.
There is no speed, no pressure, no social performance. Just guided attention, shared observation, and the surprising ease of conversation that can happen when our attention is already resting on something beyond ourselves.
We will end by coming back together for a simple tea ritual and a poem as dusk settles over the park.
You do not need to be outdoorsy. You do not need experience with meditation or mindfulness. Just come as you are, with comfortable shoes and a little curiosity.
